2020 Annual Session Cancelled

As previously communicated via email and the website, the TDA has announced the cancellation of this year’s Annual Session scheduled for June 5-7, 2020. While the TDA hoped for the best, health directives and related safety concerns associated with the COVID-19 pandemic made this decision an obvious and sensible one.

  • 2020 Annual Meeting registration fees will be fully refunded. Everyone who registered to attend the meeting will receive a full registration refund via the original method of payment by the end of May. Once your registration cancellation is processed, you will receive confirmation via email. 
  • Accommodations reserved in the TDA room block will be cancelled by the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs. Please allow 3-4 weeks for the hotel to process the cancellation. All attendees with hotel reservations outside of the TDA room block must contact their hotel directly at least 72 hours prior to check-in in order to avoid fees and penalties (unless otherwise noted). 
  • 2020 Exhibitors, Sponsors and Specialty Groups will be contacted with further information regarding booth contracts and registrations.

We thank you and the entire TDA community for patience, understanding, commitment to dentistry and the success of the Annual Session — from the attendees to the presenters, exhibitors and sponsors who share their time, expertise, collaboration and leadership. We appreciate your contributions. 

We ask for patience as we evaluate our next steps and work diligently to address questions and provide additional information. Further updates regarding the 2020 Annual Session will be published on this page.

After careful consideration and discussion with representatives of the Franklin Marriott, the TDA Annual Session scheduled for June  5-7, 2020 has been canceled due to health directives and related safety concerns associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

More information will follow after the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees has an opportunity to consider next steps for those already registered and others committed to the meeting. Please spread the word to fellow members and let them know that we will look at the possibility of a modified event later in the year.
